“Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson

I’m a twenty-something graduate from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication, Journalism with a minor in Public Relations. A fancy title that equates to nothing, folks.

A little history… I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, IL. I lived in the same house, on the same street all my life.  I was raised by two, wonderful parents who continue to love me unceasingly and show me an unfailing amount of support. I also have an amazing, older brother who at times treats me like a 10-year-old boy. Still, I know he’d go to bat for me and I’d do the same for him. My immediate family is back in Illinois and I miss them dearly.

By the way of… I have lived all over the country from Illinois to Indiana to California to Texas and now to Pittsburgh, PA. I moved here to be closer to family as well as my boyfriend. I have a four-year-old cat named Jack and a three-year-old cat named Jill and yes, they go up a hill. Anyway, I spoil them as if they were my children. I honestly never experienced the love for and from animals until I adopted them from an Animal Rescue League. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Hobbies… I enjoy shopping, cooking, reading, writing, and photography. I can also be found spending time with loved ones, reading, playing on my iPhone 4S, watching TV or movies, listening to music or doing everything mentioned above. I’m quite the multitasker.
